This bucket hat is crafted from authentic West African Baule indigo cloth, traditionally dyed and marked by time, hand, and process. The fabric’s irregular patterning tells its own story—no two panels align the same, no two hats repeat.
Finished with contrast embroidery that traces the seams and brim, the stitching acts as both structure and ornament—an intentional interruption against the depth of indigo. Soft yet substantial, relaxed but considered, it’s a functional piece elevated by cultural memory and quiet detail.
