My Run Faster series began as a meditation on momentum. These pieces are not only garments but reminders—to keep moving forward with clarity, with purpose, with memory as ballast.
This release continues that idea through the lens of Howard University. The hoody is rendered in a deep, urgent red. At the chest, a chenille patch shows a winged foot encircling the initials HU. While the symbol recalls motion and athletic tradition, it also gestures quietly toward Eshu—the orisha who governs crossroads, communication, and transformation. In Yoruba cosmology, Eshu is a messenger, a protector of travelers, a force that opens paths and demands awareness.
